Our Cybercrime Law course provides an introduction to the laws and legal issues related to crimes involving technology – known as cybercrime – such as online fraud, hacking, and cyberbullying. Examine the classifications of crime used in the Criminal Code of Canada, and explore ethics as it relates to privacy laws and the act of search and seizure. Learn about the role of law enforcement and the justice system in dealing with cyber incidents, both nationally and internationally.
