Nursing for Reinstatement

Our Nursing for Reinstatement subject is intended for nurses in Ontario who have no evidence of safe practice for at least three years. Nursing courses are competency based and take a patient-focused, family-centred, and interprofessional approach. Current research, adult learning principles, social justice, best practices, and lived experience provide the foundation for learning.

You must have formal admission to Nursing for Reinstatement: Evidence of Safe Practice to register for Nursing for Reinstatement courses.

You are an internationally educated nurse (IEN) not registered to practice in Ontario.
You are a nurse in Ontario but with no evidence of safe practice for at least three (3) years.
You are registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a practical nurse and are currently employed as an Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
