Our Skin and Wound Care for Support Workers course combines online study with simulated practice to provide personal support workers, personal care assistants, and other caregivers the opportunity to review existing knowledge and apply learning related to skin and simple wound care for clients in a community setting. Practice the actions and skills required for the assessment of skin integrity as well as the prevention and management of common wounds while, at the same time, maintaining a client's plan of care in accordance with applicable legislation and employer requirements.
Passing this course earns you a certificate of course completion from George Brown College.
