Adobe Illustrator 1 COMP 9595
Our Adobe Illustrator 1 course introduces you to the techniques used to create art, typography, and graphic design within the industry-standard Illustrator software. Start by exploring the basics of the program (including how to open, close, name, and save documents) then study the best ways to plan artwork and work with templates. In addition to learning how to incorporate existing artwork, scanned images, and typography, learn how to work with the extensive tool options so you can draw paths, rectangles, and ovals; move, copy, and transform; select objects for modification; and correct mistakes. This Illustrator course also looks at how you can use the software in combination with other applications.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our COMP 9591 Introduction to Adobe Creative Cloud (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
