Jewellery-making Techniques 2: Intermediate JEWL 9085

Our Jewellery-making Techniques 2: Intermediate course helps you further develop the skills you learned in our Jewellery-making Techniques 1 course by teaching you how to design and execute more complex forms. Learn how to calculate the amount of metal needed to create jewellery pieces of specific dimensions and how to use more advanced soldering techniques. Projects include a pendant or ring with a bezel-set stone, various cold connection (riveting) samples, and a chain bracelet with a charm.

Course Essentials:

Some basic materials are provided during the course, but you must purchase your own materials (in addition to what is provided) and have your own tools. You should expect to spend approximately $100 (in addition to the course fee) on materials. If you do not have your own tools, you can rent a jewellery kit. If you wish to purchase your own tools, the teacher can make recommendations. The teacher will provide a list of required materials and tools during the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our JEWL 9084 Jewellery-making Techniques 1: Basic course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
