Litigation for Law Clerks LAW 9014
Our Litigation for Law Clerks course is equivalent to the Litigation course offered by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO). Intended for experienced legal assistants or law clerks, this litigation law course focuses on civil practice that involves researching, drafting pleadings, preparing documents for court proceedings, preparing documentary evidence, preparing for and assisting at trials and appeals, and conducting examinations in aid of the execution and enforcement of orders.

This course can help you prepare to write the ILCO Litigation exam (not included). You must register in and pay for this course through George Brown College and register in and pay for the Litigation exam through the ILCO. ILCO exams are written according to the ILCO exam schedules. To sit the exam, you must submit the online ILCO Provincial Litigation Exam registration form before the ILCO exam registration deadline. Recommendations
You will have the most success in this course if you already have a secondary school diploma and two years of related work experience in the legal field and a good command of written English before you start this course.
