Our Model Making course teaches you how to use cubes of wax to make accurate layouts and carvings of various jewellery forms. Learn about textures and surface finishes as an element of wax jewellery designs. Projects include two wedding bands, a signet ring, mirror-image earrings or cufflinks, and a bezel setting on a ring or pendant.

Course Essentials:

Some basic materials are provided during the course, but you must purchase your own materials (in addition to what is provided) and have your own tools. If you do not have your own tools, you can rent a jewellery kit. If you wish to purchase your own tools, the teacher can make recommendations. The teacher will provide a list of required materials and tools during the first class.
