Our Nursing in Ontario – NTI course explores and provides knowledge and skills related to professional nursing practice in Canada and, more specifically, Ontario. Explore the regulatory processes, the organizational infrastructures, and the ethical foundations of nursing and professional accountabilities through the lens of the College of Nurses of Ontario entry-to-practice competencies. Focus on RN roles/responsibilities, the current issues/trends in health care, and health care delivery in Ontario and Canada. This Ontario nursing course also addresses RN roles/influences as they relate to health care policy, political process, leadership, truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples across Canada, and creating/sustaining change in order to foster client and societal health.
