Payroll Fundamentals 2 FIN 9017
Our Payroll Fundamentals 2 course teaches you how to calculate and report government and third-party remittances, year-end requirements and payroll accounting at the compliance level. Learn how to effectively communicate these organizational processes and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
This course is equivalent to the Payroll Fundamentals 2 course offered by the National Payroll Institute (NPI) – formerly the Canadian Payroll Association – as part of the NPI's Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.

Course Policies:
In order for this course to be accepted by the NPI towards the PCP designation, you must register in and pay for this course at George Brown College and register with and pay a separate course fee to the NPI, and you must achieve a passing grade of C (65%). You must register with the NPI – by emailing certification@payroll.ca – and pay the applicable fees no later than 10 business days before the course start date in order to ensure timely access to online materials. The NPI will send an access code for the online materials to your preferred email address.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our FIN 9016 Payroll Fundamentals 1 (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
