Our Portrait Photography course provides you with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of models, both in the studio and on location. Build the knowledge and skills you need to get optimal results from everything from minimal lighting equipment to complex lighting situations. Learn how to create the right atmosphere for a successful portrait and how to employ proper light measuring and ratios to produce an effective image. This portraiture course focuses on photographic composition and how to assess and critique both professional photography and your own work.

Course Essentials:

You must have a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera with manual control.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our PHOT 9066 Digital Photography 3: Lighting and Composition course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
