Our Italian Baking course explores a variety of baking and pastry skills from different regions of Italy. Learn various breads, chocolates, pastries, cookies, gelati and plated desserts. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on application, make panettone, amaretti, biscotti, gianduja, semifreddo, gelato, torrone, cannoli, panna cotta and tiramisu. Incorporate classic flavours and ingredients synonymous with Italian delicacies into contemporary dishes.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
