Our Sugar Confections course teaches you the proper techniques for working with sugar to create different confections and candies. Focus on the different stages of sugar cookery to learn the correct temperatures and procedures to create caramels, fudge, pulled taffy, candy canes, licorice and hard candy.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
